I woke up to a stiff pain in my neck. I was still on the couch. I had fallen asleep sitting up, and I was freezing. There was a small blanket fragilely placed on me. She probably didn't want to wake me. I looked to the left and saw the house door open. I could hear the waves, and through the screen I could see her.
